Dead on Town Line was a very enjoyable book. Cassie Devlin is found dead after being murdered in her town. This book speaks her feelings and shows how the dead sees the world after dying. She followers her mother, boyfriend, killer, and even her nemesis. I really enjoyed this book. I /5. DEAD ON TOWN LINE invites comparisons with THE LOVELY BONES in subject matter, and yet is completely unlike it in style.

The verses are spare and lovely, depicting Cassie's love for music and despair over her many losses. Some of the images, of murder and of what happens to a body after death, are fleetingly brutal but appropriate.

/5(10). *Deadtown releases on December 29th* Victory Dead on town line book is a shapeshifting professional demon hunter living in Boston's mandatory paranormal reservation known as Deadtown. Why read: When I first started book blogging there was a lot of hype about this book's release, so I bought myself a copy. What impressed me: I liked the dystopian elements of Deadtown. The town itself, its reason for existing, and the inevitable fighting for the rights of its citizens were entertaining and gave the reader much to consider/5(76).
